I showed two friends chapter 1 Kathy pov of RCBG and they immediately said "this is just like when Prince Hal did the 'Herein will I imitate the sun' speech." Ogre so stupid ogre only can identify potentialities such as "Henry IV Part II banishment speech but in the context of Emmy doing the banishing," and "Laura is kinda like Prince Hal," but ogre completely missed how fucking chuuni Prince Hal was for that speech in Henry IV Part 1 Act 1 Scene 2 despite Hal having egg vibes!!! Kathy is LITERALLY redeeming time when (wo)man least think she will AND she so offends to makes offense a skill through her scheming against Nichole in the early part of RCBG!!!! At this rate orgre will never fully connect the dots needed to fully weave the tapestry of Richard Competitive Bolingbroke Growth!!!!

i'm not saying henry bolingbroke is just like hamlet for real but i do think it's significant that he Did All That literally right the fuck after his dad died. without him getting to say goodbye. i do think that is a factor worth considering.
