“I didn’t expect to see you here,” Tifa said, surprise in her tone as she watched the young man appear under the moonlight. She was perched in one of her favorites spots to watch the stars; a common pastime when it was quiet in the town.

         It had been too long since Sora had been back to Radiant Garden, too long in the brunet’s opinion. He was looking forward to seeing Leon and the others again. Walking through the crowded streets, Sora smiled at the various people walking around. It was nothing like Twilight Town or his home town on the islands, but it was enough Sora considered it his home away from home.

        Making his way down the familiar street leading to Merlin’s house, Sora couldn’t help but smile when a familiar face appeared a small ways in front of him. It was good to see he hadn’t changed too much since the last time Sora had been here.

“That’s what happens when you’re the responsible adult.” He’s been paying into swear jars for a decade.

“Ah, shit, where’d she run off to this time?” He’d only looked away for a minute and then she’d vanished. Thankfully, he noticed a familiar face nearby.

When Aerith had heard that they were about to go out to clear out some heartless she had gone out of her way to ensure that they’d be safe.  He wasn’t entirely sure how she had managed it but here both Leon and he were, their hair tied up in a single pink ribbon each.
