Sherri Bomb

Sherri Bomb (renamed to distinguish her from the original) is actually the first guest at The Purgatory Hotel! I currently don’t have a design from her but the basic story is that during one of her turf wars, Sherri blew up a property owned by oneof Hell’s royalty. Luckily for her, Carma managed to get her out of trouble under the deal (verbal, not a SBD) that she would be the patient zero of her rehabilitation project.

Sherri is an Australian woman who died in the 1980s and while I haven’t gotten around to planning her human life yet, she has manifested in Hell as a Gluttony Sinner.

If you have any ideas or concepts you’d love to see for a Cherry Bomb rewrite, I’d love to hear them and potentially incorporate them into my universe!

Sera & Emily

The biggest reason is because it actually keeps focus off of the redemption plot line and plays too much into painting sinners as victims rather than people who need to focus on changing it's ways. Also it prevents trying to wonder why they want to go to heaven if it's being portrayed as not so different from heaven. As a result, I think rewrites should be open to just doing away with the exterminations or at least being made by heaven and focus on the fact that the hell hierarchy in place makes sinner's lives suck. Also it would be under her parent's approval and no trying to paint them as victims of heaven, but evil people who got justifiably kicked out. As a result, it would focus on helping sinners overcome being in an environment that enables being a sinner and the hotel could be a refuge for those who are down on their luck. Also all the sins would be evil and not just cherrypicked ones like lust, pride, or gluttony. Asmodeus and Beelzebub could have children who could be their more moral counterparts and be in place of their canon counterparts being soft for demon lords.

Heaven will be painted as the ultimate goal by showing it to be the ultimate morality that's the actual subversiveness and we can still have heaven characters but they will be featured sporadically and later seasons we could see things like the First family attend and a revamp Adam who is not a dude bro but a Robin Williams/Jack Black rock star type who despite his demeanor is very much a good father figure and moral person. Also since the exterminations are no longer here he and Eve would be ambassadors to Hell who could be the first to hear Charlie out and might entertain the idea if she gives proof. ALso both of them would know Charlie and be a bit fond of her even if they don't like her parents for what they did to them. Cain would be a sore spot for them and he could be used in a later plotline related to the hotel (even in connection to Alastor). Abel could also be there as an ambassador alongside his parents. He might be the most touchy about the idea given his history, which could put Charlie to question how it could affect winners like him. Also revamping Sera and Emily. I don't know why they were made sisters they should be more daughter and mother while Sera is married to Michael who will appear alongside the other brothers of Lucifer. As a result, Emily could be Michael's daughter and Charlie's cousin. She also could be girlfriend of Abel. And could play a part in being convinced to let Charlie have a chance with her idea.

If you need to have the Exorcists as antagonists how about make them into Destroyer angels who scout out demons on earth. Maybe the emphasis some demons like infestor demons crawling around earth could be a great reuse for the Exorcists. They could work on earth destroying demons who meddle. Also could be a good antagonist for the Helluva Boss crew. Cherub could be their competitors in saving souls, while Exorcists are in destroying demons who are meddling which makes their job even more dangerous.
