1. One of the best kinds of love is self-love. Don't be afraid to choose yourself before itâs too late.
2. Love requires bravery. Being hurt is part of the experience, but remember, love doesnât have to mean pain. It's about choosing the right person.
3. Love without regrets. Give your all so that if it ends, youâll have no regrets.
4. Love is about taking risks. You win some, you lose some, as there are no guarantees. Being with the person is worth the risk.Â
5. Sometimes, the best choice is choosing yourself and starting fresh. Is rekindling a relationship truly worth it?
Â
6. Trying to mend a failed relationship can sometimes mean losing a part of yourself.
7. No one truly âwinsâ in a breakup; both people are affected. It may not be immediate, but it will hurt.
8. The pain is temporary. It hurts deeply, but over time, you will start to heal.
9. Sometimes, we only appreciate someone once theyâre gone. Missing their presence can bring the realization that we could have handled things better.
10. Genuine love gives hope and assurance. Things always get better; always look forward to that.Â
Itâs a triumph of paradox. A triumph of human emotions. A triumph of love.

Hello, Love Again: A Story of New Beginnings and Finding Home
Hello, Love, Again (2024) - A Movie Review
I recently watched Hello, Love Again, the much-talked-about movie starring Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo. With all the global hype surrounding it, I was curious to see what made this film such a hit. After watching it, I can say that while the story itself wasnât extraordinary, the performancesâespecially Kathrynâsâmade it worth the buzz.
Let me be honest: if youâre not familiar with Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards, this movie might not leave as strong of an impact. The plot is straightforward and something weâve seen in real life countless timesâa story of heartbreak, finding new love, and starting fresh. What made it special, however, was the deeper layer added by Kathrynâs real-life experiences.
What really stood out to me was Kathrynâs portrayal of her character. For years, Kathryn seemed boxed into a specific moldâa persona shaped by a relationship that appeared to limit her growth. But in Hello, Love Again, she shed that image completely. She was bold, free, and unapologetically herself. It was like watching someone break free from chains, It was refreshing to see her explore a role that mirrored her personal growth, proving sheâs ready to soar on her own terms. It was empowering not just for her but for anyone watching.
Another smart move was pairing her with Alden Richards, someone whose clean and admirable public image made him the perfect contrast to Kathrynâs real-life past relationship. The chemistry between them wasnât just about their charactersâit was symbolic. It wasnât just their acting; it was the story their collaboration told.
This movie became a reflection of something many of us dream ofâbreaking away from a stifling past and stepping into a future where we are free to be ourselves, where we found someone who treats you with love and respect, who gave us so much grace to fail but still accepted. Kathrynâs character shows that moving on isnât just about leaving behind the old. Itâs about opening yourself up to the possibility of something better, and that struck a chord with me.
But perhaps the most touching part of the movie was its deeper message: that home isnât always a placeâit can be a person. A person who makes you feel safe, loved, and understood. Someone you can turn to when life feels heavy. That thought stayed with me long after the credits rolled because itâs something so many of us long forâa love that feels like home.
For me, Hello, Love Again wasnât just a movieâit was a lesson in letting go. Sometimes, God removes thingsâor peopleâthat hurt us so He can make room for better things. Letting go of a toxic relationship is hard, but itâs also one of the most loving things we can do for ourselves.
This film reminded me that when we finally release what no longer serves us, we open our hearts to the blessings waiting ahead. Itâs not just about finding love againâitâs about rediscovering yourself and creating a life where you can thrive.
So, if youâre holding onto somethingâor someoneâthatâs keeping you from being happy, let this be your sign. Let go. Trust the process, because better things are coming. And who knows? Your personâyour true homeâmight just be waiting for you, ready to show you a love that feels like freedom.
Hello, Love Again is more than just a love story. Itâs a story of hope, courage, and the belief that no matter how hard things get, new beginnings are always possible.
Movie Rating: 8/10
*Mas naaliw talaga ako kay Kathryn here as a person. Itâs satisfying to watch her bloom and soarâfree and wildâwhile having someone new, better, richer, and more handsome. IKAW NA TALAGA MARENG KATHRYN! HAHAHA
This week, Iâve had the pleasure of watching two romantic movies. Yesterday, I enjoyed watching Hello, Love, Again with my friends, and today, I watched We Live in Time. As you can imagine, Iâm expressing my feelings about these movies.
Hello, Love, Again continues to be well-received, even after its second week. Iâm delighted that Filipino mainstream films are still loved and watched in cinemas. Itâs understandable that moviegoing costs more after the pandemic, but people are still willing to pay and spend time traveling to theaters. Iâll never stop expressing my joy that Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo exceeded local entertainment expectations. If it werenât for their courage, we wouldnât have witnessed such a beautiful work of art.
Alright, letâs move on from the actors. But wait, thereâs one more.
Cathy Garcia-Sampana, the renowned director of numerous hit romantic Filipino movies, has once again delivered a delightful cinematic experience. Having watched most of her films, Iâve come to recognize her signature formula: exceptional leads, heartwarming romantic gestures, and a talented supporting cast. Joross Gamboa, who reprises his role as Jhim from the prequel, is a strategic choice that enhances the overall impact of the movie. Watching him on screen is a true delight, as his presence brings a sense of giddiness and joy to the audience. I would say that his presence and comedic timing have become essential elements for the success of a romantic comedy.
I still have vivid memories of my intense hatred for Ethan (Alden Richards) even after the first movie ended. I was certain that he would make another foolish decision if given a chance. His decision to let go of Joy was merely a calculated move to prove himself to her. I couldnât help but cringe when Joy (Kathryn Bernardo) made a promise to Ethan that she would return, even though she despises Hong Kong and Canada was her lifelong dream.
Ethanâs firm establishment of boundaries with Joy in the initial minutes of the movie was all I needed to love it. When he declared, âIâm not trying to win you back,â it caught her off guard. She acknowledged her vulnerability, a trait often seen in her as she disregards her rules to pursue Ethan. However, she realized that if he tries to dictate her actions, sheâll eventually succumb to his demands. Surprisingly, this situation empowered her to regain control over her emotions. She could forgive, inflict pain, and love again, all within her reach.
This is a story about pursuing your dreams and living in the present moment. You can achieve your desired life, only to realize itâs too late to truly experience it. Would you rather live in the future or in the present? Prestige can be all-consuming. Donât waste your life chasing a fleeting goal. Money, success, and fame can have different meanings and, in some cases, can be meaningless. Sadly, we wonât have enough of these things. There will always be another dream, another goal to achieve. Ultimately, we return home, and a beautiful life (not in a materialistic sense, of course) is what we should strive for.
The movie concluded with the conventional wedding scene, which has become somewhat predictable and outdated for me. Instead, they should have concluded with Joy and Ethan meeting at his home after she decides to forgo her flight.
â
We Live in Time initially confused me with its time skips, but I suppose thatâs part of its charm. Isnât that how our minds perceive the past?
I distinctly remember Florenceâs words during the movie premiere, that this is a wonderful story of love, and indeed it is. Itâs truly unique, though. I still canât comprehend how, but it is.
The birth scene evoked multiple tears from me. It was a truly moving moment. Iâm glad they included another woman in the film, providing Almut (Florence Pugh) emotional support. The actors once again delivered outstanding performances, making this a truly lovely movie to watch.
Another moment that struck me was when Almut joined a competition secretly, despite her partnerâs disapproval. She expressed her fear of being forgotten or remembered poorly by her daughter. However, she realized that she was more than her illness. (And yes, this reminded me of Joy saying sheâs more than her job.) She wants her daughter to have a mother who fought, who never gave up, even when the odds were stacked against her.
Almut finished her dish on time. Then, she looked around, removed her hat, bid farewell to Jade (Lee Braithwaite), and walked towards Tobias (Andrew Garfield) and her daughter, Ella (Grace Delaney). She had achieved her dreamânot the culinary award, but the love of her family. This realization likely filled her with contentment. More significant than being remembered as a fighter or living a fruitful life, she understood the importance of cherishing the present moment. Like Almut, I hope to make wise choices in life. Like Tobias, I aspire to be a supportive partner and a caring parent, if God-willing.
HELLO, LOVE, AGAIN | Blockscreening | November. 13, 2024 đ˝ď¸
I've waited a long years for the sequel, and it's finally here! Joy is here! I have many thoughts/Spoil about the film, but as kathryn said, "it's for you To find out." One thing's for sure guys - this movie is a must-watch, and 'good' is an understatement! âââââ
I suggest panuorin niyo Muna Ang Part 1. Available siya on Netflix.
Good good good job, Ethan!
And Joross Gamboa as Supporting actor. Man!
That's all.
PS. I should have posted this on November 13, but I was too lazy to do it. Hehez

Maybe 5 years ago, you could conquer all no matter how far the distance.
4 years ago, you just kept holding on because you love someone even if that someone can't fully sacrifice or commit to your future together.
And 3 years ago, you just needed to move forward because you need to choose yourself.
And to this day, after all that happened, you choose to forgive someone because love is stronger than what he did in the past even if it causes you trauma.
And you still choose to love someone because after all, that someone gives you peace and happiness that anyone or anything can't give.
