I am quite frankly elated right now, or as much as someone like me could possibly be.
I found Charles, finally, and it feels like old times again; Just the two of us, talking in a chatroom about writing, philosophy, psychology and all the other intellectual things that we once discussed.
I haven't got many memories as Vincent Fennell that stand out as such thus far, but something about this just feels right, and I'm glad the kin gods are finally having mercy on me.
In fact, one of the things I do remember well about my life as Vincent Fennell was being surrounded by people who found me charming, entertaining or interesting, but despite that, being quite alone. No one was truly interested in engaging in meaningful conversation, nor were they willing to see past that smiling facade I put up around everyone, except Charles. I'll admit, he meant a lot to me in my memories, although I never told him. I never tell anyone what I really feel, after all.
Now, having found him again, I find myself once more looking forward to our little philosophical conversations. They always were the highlight of my day, after all. At the very least, I'm glad to have found someone who understands me and my stories just a little bit more than most...
