Q&A with Hektic __________________________ What motivates you? The feeling of satisfaction from creating new material, shaping sounds into a vibe to portray a story and feeling. The support, feedback and reaction I have from people who hear my music. What's the best part of what you do? The best part has to be its what I love. But to be more percific I would say that, to me, the best part is programming drums. What most inspiring thing a listener of your music told you? I would say the most inspiring thing a listener has told me is "I keep listening everyday" Does a specific state of mind or mood generate your best work? I'd say a relaxed happy mood definitely helps with workflow. On the other hand, getting in the studio for a few hours when the mood is not so good can have a good effect on determination. Also helps lift my mood What's next for yourself? Next, I plan to get in the studio as often as possible and keep the tracks coming, aiming for regular releases as and when possible.
