When Crystal finally got the chance or the courage to kiss Niko, she always thought she’d at least remember it.

She woke with a gasp, shooting up in bed and grabbing her head. “What the fuck?” She groaned, her head pounding. “What happened?”

“Well, you went off on your own,” Edwin scowled, masking his concern with distain. “You were not to do that. Charles, why does she always do that?”

“I dunno, mate,” Charles replied, tugging Edwin who was pacing the length of Crystal’s room into his arms. “But let’s just be grateful that she’s here, alive and well, yeah?”

Edwin sighed but gave a small nod, snuggling into Charles and making Crystal hide a grin. He never would have given in so easily before he and Charles got together. Charles gave her a wink over Edwin’s head and Crystal swallowed down a laugh.

“Where’s Niko?” Crystal asked, finally figuring out why the room felt so off. They were missing Niko.

The boys looked at each other, speaking silently and making Crystal worry. “Guys?” She prodded. “Where is Niko?”

“Ah, well you see,” Edwin started hesitantly. “She’s fine,” He reassured when Crystal’s eyes went wide. “But, well, you may have…you may have kissed her? Whilst you were under the influence of that creature. And Niko has asked for some time to herself.”

Immediately Crystal’s fingers shot up to her lips, pressing against them gently as if she could relive the kiss through her touch. Could it really be? Had she really kissed Niko? And she didn’t even remember it?
