oh holy shit 🤯🤯 any fic everrr? ........ this is so hard erm well i have a lot of good ideas for a veilguard modern college au floating around my head but i simply cannot write it. so who else would??? idk man i genuinely think there are soooo many good fic writers and i read a varied array from a bunch of different people. so basically ANYONE!! OOO y'all could be writing more subby men though!!!! especially dom!f/sub!m 😏😈 (not that im biased or anything 😳)

The City of Ul’dah is really where Odette’s story starts. Although born in Ishgard, her parents fled to Ul’dah because they saw something they shouldn’t. They were young servants with a younger babe and were fearful and ill-equipped to handle life on the run.

The trouble soon caught up with them.

Ul’dah is where Odette was abandoned, where she Returned alone and scared, and where she struggled to survive until the convent. It is where she killed a man, where she was often mistreated. It is where she made (and lost) her first friend and it is where she was shown great kindness.

Her relationship with the city is complicated, as a result! Her nature is to love first, so she loves Ul’dah and her people. But… it holds a lot of bad memories and there are parts of it she avoids at all costs. She’ll take the long way around!

Ul’dah is also where her love of fight clubs blossomed, something she still enjoys to this day.

Like. Why. Why are trent and ted framed like that. For context:

This is the few seconds before where beard is leaving the office. They could've just left the camera facing ted or trent and have beard exit behind them in the background but no. They're making a very clear point of They Are Alone Now. And it's worth encasing this shot in a literal frame.
