been doing a lot of learning with rigging for animation, and while I've made huge strides, the base model still needs work, from re-retopology to some changes to proportions.
Long digitigrade feet look awesome standing up, but are hell the moment you want them to sit down, walk, or kneel without looking ridiculous. Rigging is also a weird game of whether you want to treat it as a foot balanced on the ball (in which you have to manually control a lot of forward/backward tilt from the foot rather than let it bend on its own), or a third leg segment in IK (in which case it might favor the ankle joint for leg lefts rather than the knee, and such)
So, I'm gonna set the rigging aside for a little big longer and keep working on the catgirl of theseus over here, replacing more parts as I've improved certain skills since modeling most of what you see a learning exercise a year ago
