These spicy maple bacon chicken drumsticks are a perfect combination of sweet, spicy, and savory flavors. The maple syrup adds a delightful sweetness while the hot sauce brings a nice kick of heat. Wrapping the drumsticks in bacon not only adds flavor but also helps keep the chicken moist and tender.
Ingredients: 8 chicken drumsticks. 8 slices bacon. 1/4 cup maple syrup. 2 tablespoons hot sauce. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Turn on the oven and heat it up to 400F 200C. Put a piece of bacon around each chicken drumstick and use toothpicks to hold it in place if you need to. Pepper, paprika, hot sauce, olive oil, salt, and pepper should all be mixed together in a small bowl. Spread the maple syrup mixture out evenly over the drumsticks that have been wrapped in bacon. Put the drumsticks on a baking sheet that has parchment paper on it. Place the dish in an oven that has already been heated up. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the bacon is golden brown. During this time, baste the chicken with the rest of the maple syrup mixture. After they're done, take them out of the oven and let them cool down for a few minutes.
