　　secret special interests / guilty pleasures... if we’re speaking in more mundane respects, i would say cafe-hopping. to xia fei, there’s something idyllic about settling down in a charming cafe, with his schoolwork beside a caffè macchiato or a masala chai. what makes this special is how rarely he indulges in this. more times than not, his packed schedule leaves no room to make these little trips. so on the days he can escape to a cozy cafe, is some of the most rewarding days of that month. it's a quiet interest of his, but one he would enjoy more spending it with someone. had there been more time and if certain obligations never got in the way, he would have loved to bring shiguang to some of his favourite spots.

do you guys get a lot of the blind box figures down there? we had some at gamestop and i swear i sifted through a few just to get my fave - i actually did somehow luckily end up with the full set lmao.

LITTLE CLOUDS OF BREATH puff from her mouth as she bends to rest her hands on her knees. ending her training with a run has been chiaki's latest method of fighting the goblins in her brain, and to an extent it works — but only to an extent. she'll need to change it up for something else soon. the goblins are adapting.

headcanon : whose google search history would be the most interesting?

shoko has never bothered to delete her search history, & she has never bothered to use private browsers. her search history topics are the immediate consequence of her work ( i.e pictures of liver left lobe , pictures of falcon bites, pictures of wood corrosion. ) she always types full requests of what she wants her search to produce. pictures of ____, she types. articles about ___, she types. songs by ____, she types.

she understands that she can type more simple terms & simple requests. she types in full phrases, however, because that’s how she thinks. she doesn’t spare the time to filter her searches or type by muscle memory along.

of course, her searches turn colorful too. in part, with the things that she types when she grows tired or drunk **(i.e fend the taxi, ubr prices high ? , gas & uber and price, percent of, nearest bakery open, songs by ___). rarely do these searches include the explicit, because she entertains searches as a passing fancy.

besides that, she tries spends a fair amount of time entertaining herself too with searches answers to trivia questions the last time she had missed a question when she wound up at bar trivia by accident. she also has spent too much time searching for jokes to see if any of them make her laugh. they don’t. it turns out that reading a joke is not half as effective as hearing it delivered.

she always looks up the endings to movies that she says she wants to watch ( though she never will ), & she reads wikipedia summaries of reality television episodes & claims that she has actually watched them.

and or who will argue with anyone about anything?

when she claims that she has watched reality television shows, it’s part of a larger game. she likes to argue with friends or strangers about what she says happened in the show without her ever having seen it. the amount of time she manages to keep up the charade dictates how successfully she played the game.

shoko is fully of white lies that mean little more than an opportunity to see if she’ll get caught. it feels akin to dropping something in still water. she lies about small things  —-  about whether an article of  clothing is hers, what the time is, whether your  breath  stinks ).  she  lies  because  she  can,  because  it  feels  akin  to  dropping  something  in  still  water.
