Trying on the Trans Hyperion Alliance colours tonight. I need new lights I think, because this is way more golden than it is irl.

Followed GW's guide for it but while their bone highlights look nice, I always want saturation and ended up putting Tau Ochre highlights over it instead.

I might slap a layer of some lighter grey over the armor next time. That first shade of orange was hard as hell to get over the deep grey primer I mixed...

His head I painted as practice like 2 months ago..

This guy progresses. He's like 90% done now. I had to do another arm for him entirely because I thought they were just interchangeable like the 3e tactical squad or something. Turns out, no.

I've also been having a weird problem where my hands were rubbing layers of paint off. I'm not sure if my skin is rough, or my sweat is weird or if it's just cos I wipe down my hands with alcohol constantly in work. So this guy was done with minimal touching, only really to glue it together later!
