It's pretty amusing that everyone in Pinkie Pie's family is the complete opposite of her.

Maud is completely emotionless and monotone.

Marble is not talkative and even shyer then Fluttershy.

Limestone has anger issues.

And the parents are very reserved and stoic, much like Amish folks.

The Nonsense Thing in Diamond’s Head Today 6: Hey Diamond, What’s the Deal With MarbleMac?

Diamond here bringing you this short thing before Pone Reviews. I’ve had a few people comment on my dissing of MarbleMac in past columns. I thought I’d briefly explain why I have done so. (Remember, this is just my opinion.)

We are introduced to the prospect of the Apples and Pies being related in Season 4. Yes, it is a very distant relation. Probably nothing that new in pony standards of genealogy. Though the Apples and Pies play it up as if they’re actually sisters from another mister and all is peachy!

And then the rock nation attacked.

Season 5’s “Hearthbreakers” continued to make Pinkie and Applejack stress that yes, we’re related and we’re close. Going to the relatives’ for Hearth’s Warming is a big deal! We’ll get to meet more family! The relation now brings Igneous Rock Pie, Cloudy Quartz, Limestone Pie, Marble Pie, and Maud Pie.

Here’s where it starts to get weird.

Pinkie is pushing Big Mac and Marble together, making them blush. Pinkie’s also making what the community likes to call “bedroom eyes” as she does this. Not to mention how insistent she is on them wishing each other a happy Hearth’s Warming.

Bruh, she’s trying to set these guys up.

What happened to the celebration of cousins, the sacredness of sisters?! After all this time being family-oriented, suddenly Pinkie is trying to ship these cousins. I might be okay with it if not for all the stressing that they’re related and all that. But with it… it just bothers me.
