โ๏ธ๐ ๐ฝโ๏ธ One week til Christmas ๐๐๐ฏโฃโฃ โฃโฃ What are you doing to bring yourself JOY?! โฃโฃ I know a lot of us donโt get to spend Christmas with family this year... I know Iโm staying my ass in NYC. โฃโฃ โฃโฃ Iโm going to miss the family traditions. The Cincinnati food. My puppies back home. But I know Iโm making the right decision by not traveling right now. So I have to find ways to bring myself joy in this moment - and so do you! โฃโฃ โฃโฃ Here are some ways to spark JOY in yourself when the holidays have you feeling down: โฃโฃ โฃโฃ โ๏ธ Create a playlist. One that really lights you up. My joyful playlist is ironically all the Emo songs I listened to in High School. Dance parties are an added bonus! โฃโฃ โฃโฃ โ๏ธ Find/Create a virtual community. When you are surrounded by your people (online ๐) you feel safer, happier, and more loved. Remember, I have a geeky fitness community you can join! โฃโฃ โฃโฃ โ๏ธ Journal it out!!! Not sure what would bring you joy right now? Letโs get writing about it. It might take more than one journal entry to get there but getting your thoughts onto paper always helps. โฃโฃ โฃโฃ โ๏ธ Get creative! I allllways say this but creativity = joy! And there are so many fun ways to get creative round the holidays. From how you wrap gifts, to creating the perfect gift for someone, to working on that project youโve had on the back burner!
