here is the freezepop lore that i know so far #yes

so this is (left to right) sean t. drinkwater, liz enthusiasm, and the duke of pannenkoeken aka FREEZEPOP!!!!

sean's real name is indeed sean drinkwater, liz's is jussi gamache (pronunciation rhymes with just-see but i like to say juicy), and the duke's is kasson crooker....the duke USED to be the duke of candied apples, and then the duke of belgian waffles, but he changed it to the duke of pannenkoeken once he went on tour and had a yummy pannenkoeken

they started the band in 1999 in boston after the duke went up to liz and sean and was like...yo what's up😁he was in a bunch of other bands before and i think sean was too but you can just look that up

the duke uses a yamaha qy-70 (shown below) which is like a little band-in-a-box that is SURPRISINGLY really hard to use...like he makes that shit look easy...for their earlier albums about 85% of their songs were made purely just from this. one instrument. wow. ofc they use their (roland brand) synthesizers and awesome keytars while performing, but the duke's way of production made it so that when playing live, they can make it sound almost exactly like their studio recordings (most noticable in this performance of summer boy) which is cool yah...

in an interview they said that the duke did the production and music making, liz did the visuals, and sean had the stage presence....I DONT THINK THATS TRUE LOL cuz with liz being the beautiful frontman she is, and sean being the keytar guy, they definitely bring more than they think. i mean, the duke says the shit they make is SIMPLE. technically it is but it totally isn't y'know...

anyways they're best friends and they love eachother and they kiss, but you may be wondering...........WHY ISN'T THE DUKE IN THE BAND ANYMORE?!?!?!?!??!?!? well back in 2009 he left the band right before their 4th album released because of a CERTAIN COMPANY i actually really like called harmonix🥺they made mostly rhythm games like rock band (I LOVE🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷), amplitude, guitar hero.....sadly fortnite festival...yes they were bought by epic games...

but yeah even in like 2007 he was starting to work a lot more and touring was really hard with his schedule and harmonix wanting more from him so he had to leave #sad....but it's ok because he still does shows with them when they're in the same place and whatnot...sigh...

now with the duke gone it's just Liz and Sean......BUT NOT FOR LONG!!!! here's the current lineup of freezepop left to right: robert john bananas foster (🤬), liz enthusiasm, sean t. drinkwater, and christmas disco-marie sagan!!!!!!

bananas foster was friends with freezepop for a LONG TIME and would play shows with them when the duke couldn't even BEFORE he left....so sadly they were like yeah we should let him join as a reward...grrrrr i fucking hate him...

christmas is really really awesome she used to be a fan of freezepop before she joined (pictured below is her old freezepop fanart 😭) and i don't really remember how she joined but i know it was thru like, friends of friends??? she loves christmas, pizza, and beef jerky and i found her pinterest account with boards for her haircuts and one of their later albums which is cool

liz and sean are actually MARRIED in real life and they have a dog named simon who's really cute...i'm pretty sure they've been together for a while idk how long but maybe even back when the duke was in the band?

when all 5 of them are together, they call it SUPER FREEZEPOP!!!!! it's rare but it happens!

some more fun facts as i think of them:

liz used to do a thing where she would shop for fans at thrift stores and send them the craziest shit she could find

sean REALLY likes duran duran and a lot of people say he looks like simon le bon

christmas has a son and his freezepop name is national rhubarb pie day sagan

freaky olive lady thinks their album fancy ultra-fresh sounds like hello nasty 👀

they had packaged burgers and "cool american" doritos for thanksgiving one year cuz they were on tour

liz took like a month of japanese in college and wrote tenisu no boifurendo after that (you can tell she only took one month lol)

the duke has a wife he cooks japanese food with

he also loves VR (which i hate but it's ok he's just unc)

someone (on facebook) said bananas once called them while he was having sex which i don't know is true???????

they describe their music as "sweet and cold and fruity and plastic-y"

the duke sings with a toy rubber shark on his mic during shark attack and he says it has to be fully aroused for it to work

so many people used to throw their undies on stage that they had an undies wall in their old studio

liz is the cup master (can hold red solo cups with her teeth)

the duke also enjoys beef jerky

they all started the band in their late 20s

a lot of their early fan base knew them from the video games the duke would get their music on thru his job

people mistake the qy-70 for a gameboy

sean does most of the vocoder stuff live

Naralinthe knew she would find him here…

It was a place they often visited when they wanted to escape the hustle and bustle of a crowded city.  Over time, it had become their favorite spot to lay on the grass and deliberate the countless, unanswerable questions in life while they listened to the waves lapping gently against the cliffside below.  The view was breathtaking, a picturesque scene of nature and elven architecture commingled together in perfect harmony.  From the mountain’s summit to the oceanic depths below, they had stacked their hopes and aspirations high and plentiful enough to bridge the gap in between.

Hesitant footsteps carried the Lioness toward the good Doctor, however she paused when she realized he was not alone.  Tucked under his arm was a tiny doll of a child with a crown of golden curls cascading down her head.  A comfortable silence lingered about the pair, Lukel seemingly lost deep in thought while Giida brought dandelion after dandelion to her lips before exhaling a puff of air.  A scatter of seeds were released into the universe, carrying the weight of a single wish… for her daddy’s heart to stop hurting.

It was amazing really.  The way the mortal soul coiled around those they cared for after enduring a loss.  It brought things into perspective, reminding us to cherish the gifts we have been given, never taking one single moment for granted.

Large, mazarine eyes peeked between a tangle of curls, and the tiny golden sparrow focused her attention directly toward the Lioness.  The good Doctor, seemingly drowning in a sea of numbers and struggling to make them add up, had hardly noticed her absence.  While he did glance over his shoulder to ensure she did not stray too far, it was evident he did not see Naralinthe standing there.

A skipping of bare feet brought the little angel before her, and she held out one of the dandelions for the Madame to take.  “Care to make a wish?  Perhaps maybe yours will come true.”  She paused to capture her bottom lip between her teeth before continuing.  “Mine… don’t seem to do anything at all.”

Momentarily stunned, the Lioness leaned toward Giida and posed a question of her own, “Can you see me?”

“Of course I can,” scolded the child before nearly shoving the dandelion in Naralinthe’s face.  “Now make a wish.”

A soft smile tugged at painted lips, and the ethereal woman closed her eyes before thinking of her heart’s greatest desire.  In this moment, there were a great many things she wanted.  So many opportunities had been overlooked, and countless thoughts were left unexplored.  The world was their stage, and she and Lukel were destined to dance, hand in hand, until the curtain fell.  Unfortunately, their dance had ended much sooner than she would have liked.

I wish for you to be happy, my darling Doctor.

Naralinthe’s eyes opened slowly, and immediately they settled on the redhead in the distance.  He was the shadow that made her light shine all the brighter.  Having made her wish, she puckered her lips and blew softly, casting it out into the wind with seeds un-sewn. 

“He doesn’t cry around me, but I know he is hurting.  I can see it in his soul.”  The brilliant little girl paused to curl a single finger, beckoning the Lioness to come closer as her voice dipped into a softer whisper still.  “He misses you, you know.”

“Yes, darling, I know.  I miss him too.  Promise me you will take good care of him, Giida,” she pleaded as a single tear rolled down her cheek.

“I promise.”
