so headresses are an item in animal jam, that is um, contriversal in its inclusion to say the least..

But we're all dancing around the fire in sarepia, and aj being racist/ cultrally appropriating comes up - with headresses, head feathers totem poles etc.

and everyone there is in agreement that its dumb that theyre in game (honestly kinda rare for a half full room) but someone had an interesting take that i want more opinions on

basically, indigenous wouldn't be offended at you wearing headresses in game because it's not real so doesn't affect anyone negitivly. They would instead be offended at the game company that put them in the game and you're not associated with the people who put it in the game. They think it's fine that people wear them cuz its a kids game and it's out of the players control what is put in the game.

And sure, i guess? But it's in the players control if they wear or own the item in game????
