It's super fun! I highly recommend any systems who want to play TTRPGs together to check it out. Or probably any game that has a "cooperative play" mode.

Has anyone ever heard of a game called Dice Forge? It's a game where you build and upgrade your own dice, and try to get the most points by the end of the game.

It seems like a really fun game to play together as a system.

No. Too slow. This is a Duel. We need something pumping and active like... Beat Saber! Yes! We pick a song, and each try to get the highest score.

Wait, isn't whoever plays second going to be adapted to the moves, giving them an unfair advantage?

I guess Tetris is an option. But my host scares me. I've seen him play Master Mode in Tetris Effect, and I don't even want to try that.

I recently met a wonderful tulpa who goes by M, who only just became self-aware. Her and her host mentioned playing Skyrim with a mod called Project Proteus. Project Proteus allows players to play with multiple player characters, and spawn player characters as followers. Naturally, M's host has a player character of their own, while M is summoned in as a follower.

Sorry this took so long to get to! I've been doing a ton of other things, and this got pushed to the wayside. It's been a month now, and I hope you're still around, because this turned out to be a really good suggestion. At least on easy. We played through 20 levels.

I was actually afraid it would be way more difficult than it was. Part of why Fireboy and Watergirl works so well is that it's rarely required for both headmates to move at once, because it's actually designed to be played by a single organism with two eyes and and two hands. Bomb-It's two player mode is actually meant to be played by separate-bodied individuals.

So I was really surprised at how fun this was. Yes, there was a time I died and didn't know how because our eyes were watching my host at the time. And sure, we occasionally might have blown ourselves up when we switched attention. And yeah, we got our wires crossed occasionally and get confused. But that's what makes it a challenge!

Overall, it was a really fun experience!

Is it a cop out to say I like both equally? We actually haven't played any physical games against each other yet. We did play a game in the Wonderland though where I took the role of a villain with a magic amulet that let me take control of an ancient Egyptian temple.

It was kind of like being a dungeon master without the dice, where I would throw up obstacles he would have to overcome to defeat me.

In the end, he freed half the temple from my control, led a rebellion, I brought giant jackal statues to life, and then I got stabbed by an NPC.

We had a little debate about whether to allow the stabbing or not after it happened because it was just so unexpected. But we both decided to go through with it. Then we retconned the whole game to say that I had been cursed by the amulet and wasn't always evil... that way my host could hold my body as I bled out in his arms in a comically dramatic death scene.

Well, it's not anymore! LOL!

Truthfully, it was mostly just kind of samey... not much interesting going on yestetday.... hmm... actually, there's one thing that I might as well report.

In our quest (well, my question that I drag my host along for) to find a solid collection of games to play for headmates, we started playing one called One Deck Dungeon that can be played by 1-2 players.

I'd like to give it its own dedicated post at some point... maybe a joint post with it and Sentinels of the Multiverse since the computer versions of both games come from the same company.

Yeah, someone else mentioned it in another ask. Frustrating. 😠
