a building, a skyscraper, is a beautiful and austere woman.

cheesey intern/boss office romance but as it progresses it becomes increasingly clear that one or both parties are actually more interested in the building itself. maybe the intern spills their copies and while their boss helps them out they spend just a liiiittle too long on the floor. stroking the gross, coarse acrylic carpet. They keep refusing to meet anywhere but one of the restaurants or lounges in the office park. Even when they get away, the building looms in every shot, still visible in the distance, and the leads make an effort to angle themselves toward it. The two are stuck in the rain and share one of the faux-leather lounge sofas yay but in the night they sneak off, finally able to appreciate the place in silence. alone. and surrounded.

i do love plush inanimate objects. my sleeper plush rn is a washing machine, she charmed me immensely. she's a lil replica of a big heavy appliance that's amazing. a lady on bsky made herself a skyscraper plush and like i want that for me. for completely different reasons than hers but i want that.
