A vouge employee!Kurt au where Kurt's finally gets the chance to design his own clothes line and he's obviously super hyped but he needs a model for it and it's a bit of a struggle to find one because he's a new designer with little money and his vision isn't very conventional. When he brings this all up at family dinner (aka Rachel, Mercedes, Artie, Blaine, Tina, Sam and his weekly get togethers) Sam offerers to help since he has the experience and is in need of a job anyways.
And like they're working together and Sam is always super supportive of every idea Kurt has even if he doesn't really get it, and is willing to try anything even if it isn't his personal style, but also Kurt does try to mix Sam's tastes into the outfits because he wants Sam to feel comfortable in everything so by the end the designs are a mix of both of them!!

* no matter what occupies our normal doings,
no matter the bleed into our lives, …the news from distant places;
no matter the stance taken on hot-button issues of the day
as well as
the relatively cooler but more certain core of what we hold near & dear;
we all crave our havens:
some safe space where we rest - literally & figuratively;
a place our soul knows as home & so acts - in its full expression
however similar or contrary to our public manners & mores.

our haven within often intersects with others', but
sometimes it may not as well, which is okay too,
it's just another venn, friend…
the art of living populates the world

In chapter 11in BitW Nyx creates a new haven for the first time in probably centuries, what's the difference between the havens created by the Oracle and the one Nyx made? And could Nyx create them around settlements with the help of the kingsglaive?
The Oracles use their blood, prayers and the ambient magic to make Havens. Their blood makes sure the havens keep the daemons away and the ambient magic keeps the Havens going. The prayers are to direct the intent to protect.
Nyx's pseudo-Haven will not last for long. It's powered by his own magic (giving it the elemental property of lightning) while the sigils carved into the floor direct the intent. He has to actively feed magic into it for it to work. The only reason it can hold longer is because the sigils coupled with the magic created a feedback loop that can feed itself to a certain extend. It'll hold for a week at most.
