I can’t believe you’re still protecting this girl. I mean really. I’m so confused. She sounds awful.
Fire begets a bigger fire, and I will not be a person to out/slam/slander/degrade/or turn others against. That is not what I am or who I want to be. Yes, I wish to be like Wilhemina, but I have a standard of how I keep myself (like Mildred) I will not allow myself to become one of those people beneath me that sick their friends and others on the person who did them harm, or to insult. So that’s that I suppose
A person does not deserve the wrath of my friends, or my own. It’s a waste of energy. I might be a Norse Pagan, and use my emotions in my scrying, and set intentions- but anger never makes me feel better if I release it on others, it makes me nauseous, confused, and even s*cicidal.
The best way we can be as humans is to recognize our anger, our dislike, our wrath, let it out- healthily- and then move on. In fact I am writing letters and intentions and lighting them on fire after my shower (water is a purification) and it helps me
Not to mention I fully live by The Doctor’s statement: Never be cruel, never be cowardly... remember hate is always foolish, and love is always wise. Always try to be nice but never fail to be kind.
Oh and this one my Moffat: Night will fall and drown the sun. When a good man goes to war. Friendship dies and true love lies.
Plus, today I am very tired. My CRPS is worsening, I couldn’t even clean my house that well like I said I did.
If I put my energy into my hate and focused on my cruelty there would be nothing left of me.
I just saw a video of a group of BLM protesters chanting something disgusting. Instead of pushing their message - which I support - they moved into other territory. They were chanting something that draws on one of the worst blood libels spoken against my people.
The chant was, “hey, Israel, we know you! Jews murder children too!”
There are several blood libels, but one of the worst is that Jews would kidnap and murder Christian children to use their blood for matzos. That particular lie dates back to the 1100’s. It was so popular that a handful of the children claimed to have been murdered for this purpose were generated by the church as official martyrs. At least one was canonized as a Saint (that I know of). Every generation has a new one, and they all harken back to this one. It is a lie, one meant to keep us on the hated end of society.
I’m absolutely with the black community about systemic racism, but I will NOT be silent while people of all colors chant things like this at protests in the name of standing against racism. I’m not gonna hear excuses, either. Jews as a people are not murderers, we don’t run the entertainment industry, we don’t control the media, we don’t run the world’s banks, and we didn’t fucking dominate the Atlantic slave trade. My people picked up Torah and marched for black civil rights. A rabbi marched to Selma beside Dr. King. How did we end up as a target all over again?
The media, however, will hit the snooze button. I’ll probably get hate mail. I will not remain silent, however - if you have to repeat thousand-year-old lies to bolster your cause, maybe you should re-examine your cause. And if it’s not for your cause...well, maybe you should re-examine why you decided to repeat it in the first place.
Have you e-hugged a fanfic writer/artist today?
I hear it’s good for your health - much better for all concerned than namelessly pouring bile over your keyboard.
You know what I love about Tumblr? I can post stuff. I can post stuff that people like. I can post stuff I hope people will love to share their opinion of – with me sometimes too.
What I also love, is that in posting the stuff I love to write, those who choose to engage with me, say hi, drop me a line, leave me a note, go on to become really good friends.
People who I appreciate. People who I trust. People with whom I frequently reciprocate because they have earned it.
People who know that just because one can say something, doesn’t mean they should.
There are a lot of people hurting in the world right now, at our own level, myself included. I don’t want sympathy, I get plenty of love and care from those who have earned my love and respect and vice versa. Keep that in mind next time you feel like something is unfair.
So, the next time you consider being a coward - being spiteful to someone you don’t know - petty to a stranger – hiding behind anonymity to speak ill of, or to someone you’ve never given anything to yourself (like a ‘hello’, or, ‘have a moment to chat?’), ask yourself…
What it is you’re looking for?
and…
Will your current approach achieve it, or will it simply get your notes/comments/anon rubbish deleted and laughed about by the person you sent it to and the people you could have been friends with? <<< This is happening right now.
Go ahead and refuse to appreciate or show gratitude for people in your particular fandom who give of themselves for nothing in return – desiring a little tick of approval doesn’t make a person greedy, gluttonous or narcissistic, any more than sending poorly articulated and nasty anonymous messages makes a person clever, witty or ultimately, happy. Why writers and artists ask for feedback, is because silence can turn a community inward – we share with those who we can rely on to give back, just as we give to them, and let’s face it, with the haters hating, who can really blame us?
Want in on the fun? Hm, well, I hate assholes, so being one probably isn’t going to work, but I totally welcome friendly and polite folk who like to get to know me and my friends. I know my Tumblr friends are of the same opinion, or they wouldn’t be my friends.
So, commenting on and reblogging posts helps keep the fanfiction coming
Messages wider our circle of fandom friendship.
Asks with your blog name show us you’re willing to stand by the words you type, and not hide behind your keyboard.

The party’s shift toward extremism continued with a nod to an infamous anti-gay slur and an invitation to burn Pride flags.
Why am I not surprised ?
I'm prone to my share of road rage and indomitable outrage, just like anyone else ... but after this week I haven't the stomach for it, I am weary.
