Crown Prince Hussein visited the Corona vaccine clinic at Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein hospital
Battle of Maysalun
Gouraud inspects his troops on July 23.
July 24 1920, Damascus--In March, the Syrian Congress declared Feisal as King of an independent Syria. Feisal, knowing that the French would almost certainly not accept Syrian independence, accepted only reluctantly; if he had rejected it, it would have been seen as a betrayal by the Arab population in Syria and elsewhere in the Middle East. In April, the Allies decided at the San Remo conference that Syria would be a French mandate under the League of Nations.
On Bastille Day, General Gouraud, commanding French forces in Lebanon, issued an ultimatum to Feisal, telling him to disband his forces and accept French authority over Syria. Knowing he had little chance against the French, Feisal accepted the ultimatum. However, by the time the message reached Gouraud (possibly after deliberate delays by the French), the French forces had already begun to advance on Damascus. A more stringent ultimatum was issued, and Feisal, realizing that the Gouraud was bent on military conquest anyway (and that he had to continue his advance regardless to keep his men, horses, and camels watered), rejected it and issued an appeal to the other Allies for assistance, even though he knew it could not reach them in time. In northern Syria, the French had already occupied Aleppo.
On July 24th, Gouraud’s tanks, camel cavalry, and infantry swept aside Syrian defenders in under four hours at Maysalun, about fifteen miles west of Damascus; the French entered Damascus the next day, ending the brief existence of the Kingdom of Syria and exiling Feisal.

Flag of the Hashemite Caliphate, 1919 (fictional)
from /r/vexillology Top comment: The scenario for this is that the [Faisal-Weizmann Agreement](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faisal%E2%80%93Weizmann_Agreement) not only happens, but actually goes a bit further. King Faisal of the Hashemite Dynasty is recognised as the King of Iraq and a united Levant, including being recognised by the Zionist Organisation as King of Israel, per the Agreement. He is also able to reconquer the Hejaz from the Saudis and proclaim himself Caliph of Islam and Commander of the Faithful. The star in the centre of the flag is known as the Rub el-Hizb or the Quds Star. It is a symbol of Jerusalem since architecturally the Dome of the Rock is built in this shape, and it is believed by many Muslims to be the Seal of Solomon. The flag of the Kingdom of Israel within the Hashemite Caliphate is similar, except it is blue instead of green, and the Seal of Solomon is six-pointed rather than eight-pointed, as per Jewish tradition. The Hashemite dynasty is quite a bit more religious in this timeline, using Islam as a popular ideology to counter the rise of secular Arab nationalism and Baathism. It does, however, patronise minority religions as well, and the military and government are organised along confessionalist lines. This is especially the case in the Kingdom of Israel and the Emirate of Mount Lebanon, two whole realms under the Caliph's rule with majority Jewish and Christian populations, respectively.

Jordan has a strange, haunting beauty and a sense of timelessness. Dotted with the ruins of empires once great, it is the last resort of yesterday in the world of tomorrow.
