That last ask is so depressing š š i get that itās a soap and I think a sunset ending is just a dream. I understand the frustration with st*rry bc I donāt think itās unrealistic to not have it revisited again but itās whatever hollyoaks decides to do but by going there Harryās character is dragged down completely. I want jarry endgame in the way itās always each other they love THE MOST whatever happens, that true ride of die ship. To ever believe Ste is the true one harry wants? Nah.
I agree! I think that is what a soap can have as endgame. Like JP endgame is always Craig even if James Sutton came back again, the moment he would leave again Craig would call him or something.Ā Nancy and Darren are also each others endgame, you know itās only a matter of time before they are together again.Ā And I think James and Harry have the potential to be the same. In my eyes they already are. Ste has his endgame pairing, so technically speaking it could already never be starry. The moment Kieron decides to leave Hollyoaks, we all know who would make a short return to our screens.Ā Harry deserves to be someoneās true love and heās Jamesās and James deserves to be someoneās true love and that person is Harry.Ā Since like starry obviously McNight can never be the endgame couple, because JP is already taken.Ā Nobody should be Doug until they die, and Harry and James can be the best lgbtq couple this soap has ever seen. Apologies. I meant this very much as aĀ āwe have equal amounts of evidence that Harry dies or lives so how could that workā rather than aĀ āthis is how they get jarry back togetherā type theory. For me, I could see them going either way with starry/jarry (though I do think JP is more likely to come back for Ste than James so thereās that) and I think that the way that Iāve connected the dots here allows for both potentially to happen.Ā
Jarry is, of course, my preferred outcome. James taking a backseat in storylines for the rest of summer (as indicated by the trailer) makes me think that they are trying to decide what to do with him and the answer to that right now, as confirmed by SoMe reactions, isĀ āstop fucking around and give us our jarry backā.Ā
Bottom line - if Harry is dead Jarry is 100% over (and they ended on that āyou make me want to be better scene). If heās alive thereās always a chance that jarry will get back together - even if we have to suffer starry for a bit. I'm fine with either option.Ā
