Harry Charles Lloyd is an English actor who has worked on both stage and screen. He is best known for his work in Game of Thrones as Viserys Targaryen (2011) and Wolf Hall as Lord Henry Percy, 6th Earl of Northumberland (2015). He’s also appeared in Jane Eyre (2011), The Iron Lady (2011), The Theory of Everything (2014), The Wife (2017), The Lost King (2022, Richard III), David Copperfield (1999), The Bill (2005), Robin Hood (2006-2007), Heroes and Villains (2008, Richard the Lionheart), Great Expectations (2011), The Hollow Crown: Henry IV (2012, Sir Edmund Mortimer), and Star Wars: The Bad Batch (2024).
Harry Lloyd was born in London, England and is the son of Jonathan Lloyd and Marion Evelyn (Dickens). He is related to writer Charles Dickens through his mother, Dickens is his great-great-great-grandfather. His parents both work in the literature industry, his mother is a children’s publisher, and his father heads a literary agency. Lloyd started working as an actor aged 16, whilst at college appearing in David Copperfield alongside Daniel Radcliffe. He went on to study English and started appearing in plays. He is a fan of football and supports Chelsea F.C.
