Harry crying at Wembley after breaking the record, I'm feeling so emotional. He was so grateful and moved, which just makes me understand once again why he makes certain sacrifices sometimes. He does the best he can for himself and his career, and I wish people were more understanding of him

I think it’s very difficult for a lot of people to realize that part of Harry “clawing back” some of his privacy included not sharing all of his emotions with the world.
He was a boy who used to openly cry when feeling overwhelmed. His lyrics reveal a man who feels things very, very deeply. But years of every aspect of himself being picked apart by people, and years of being told who he is wasn’t who the world wanted him to be, meant that we got an incredibly curated Harry Styles who only let “H” be seen in glimpses and only by people who were really paying attention.
And then people criticized him for being fake.
He put out an album he believed in, a piece of art that was an expression of himself, an album most people dismissed as “a flop” because it wasn’t the version of Harry they wanted from him.
The tears at Wembley was a moment of seeing him realize the result of all of his hard work, all of his sacrifice, all of his pain.
Breaking a record set by a band he loves and admires, at a stadium that to any English music fan to even play a single time is the epitome of “making it,” is a moment I think very few of us can imagine having.
He deserves every accolade he receives. I am so proud to be his fan and so grateful I get to see even glimpses of the Harry he reserves for people who just accept him for who he is.
