But yeah, I also hate when a fandom denies a relationship being abusive. Ghetsis and N is an example in the Pokemon fandom. Ghetsis locks him up for 18 years, prevents him from being an independent adult, has this weird emotional incest going on where he treats him like his king, and even beats his ass in the manga and everyone is still like “Ghetsis actually loves N as a son! He may be evil but he loves his kids” no the fuck he doesn't lol
