It was such a great moment and just after Chas was fretting she didn’t do enough for him but really did great.  I had an internal *squee* when Aaron said he wanted to be a Dingle

You’re completely right about the trouble over the years, not sure if you’ve seen it but the worst one I can think of is when she got back with Carl years ago and Aaron was kicking off so she said something like “I’ve had enough, I’m done with you” in Paddy’s kitchen (really sad scene) - love watching the progression of their relationship and it’s never felt forced.

She has seemed to struggle with her mum role and over compensated (’pecking his head’ and treating him like a child), this time (apart from the soapy Ryan bit and scenes with Gordon during this storyline) she has really come through for Aaron in the right way… hopefully she will chill out a bit in future and they will come through this with a stronger relationship - though not too much as I like a little bit of OTT Chas/Aaron every now and then:

Agree with you that Gordon doesn’t deserve his name to continue, with Aaron now a Dingle and Liv already a Flaherty all we need now is for him to be found guilty and he has lost everything

I was worried about the rest of the week after watching the episode yesterday but a few things today like Aaron Dingle has taken the edge off (well the edge is still there ofc but not too much if you know what I mean)

I’m with you, really happy about the new start for Chas and Aaron as well :o)
