I mean, the book's been out for like 2 years, but there has to be someone there's always someone, like me, I just got my hands in this book cuz my brother just so happened to run into it in a random street in Mérida and convinced my dad to buy it for like 10 bucks a few months ago

I tried translating some parts, tbh I don't like translating I think I would prefer teaching y'all Spanish 😞

But yeah I freaking love this book, and ngl the Ford part might be my favourite segment, that and the whole "fuck you go read the great Gatsby thing" prolly

the urge to make an animatic of the "war in my mind" (I have no idea if it's called like that in english) part is powerful, this might be my favourite part of my favourite part the book, like DAMN Ford had it BAD

(his fault, sort of, idrc if Ford is in the bad or good I just know that I love this pathetic man, and that he suffered, a lot it seems)

I don't think I can say something new about this book, I just wanna highlight some things, like how the twins relationship is portrayed here, like how Ford seems to think so little of Stanley but at the same time still love him enough to panic about Bill possibly telling him that he committed suicide and that he never liked him (this being WAYY BEFORE they talked again after going no contact)

the fact Ford has so many flaws, makes me love him more tbh, AND don't forget Fiddleford, I haven't seen much about him if I'm being honest, but the book made me love him ok I can't (the fact he had 5 failed attempts at making Ford Six finger gloves is just too much, this damn book made me ship them and I hate it for it)

is just, "try and forget" bro whyy 😭

i think I saw it somewhere else (maybe I'm just regurgitating something everyone else said I don't really remember), but I feel it is so obvious that Bill was jealous of Fiddleford and Ford's relationship, whatever it was just friends, partners (in any sense), how Bill treated Fiddleford was...interesting to say the least.

Also, the fact Ford didn't think much of Bill breaking the gift Fiddleford made for him, bruh I know you dumb but damn dude the guy didn't make anything for his own wife but made something for you, at least react when your pocket demon breaks it 😭

And obviously, Ford this Ford that, but yeah the book is the book of Bill, and tbh I ended up disliking Bill; And that's amazing, I think when I was watching the show the fact Bill is an massive asshole kind of went over my head (completely my bad, me watching series is like a toddler trying to read the divine comedy), seeing him as the little shit he is was really good

JUST LOOK AT HIM, HE'S A LITTLE SHIT AND HE NOT ONLY KNOWS IT, IT'S ON PURPOSE

Bill being just an attention seeking bitch is just, peak, for me at least, listen this ain't no character analysis I'm just ranting about what I like of this book

anyways, this is the only good purchase my brother has done in his 13 year old life span

funny enough I was the last of my siblings to read it entirely (my lil sis read it like, 2 weeks from when the book was purchased) and IT BROKE

LIKE, NOW THERES THE PAGES AND THE LID, at least the pages are in a block and there's no strays but BROTHER IN CHRIST WAS THE BOOK WAITING FOF US TO READ IT TO AUTO DESTROY ITSELF OR WHAT 😭????
