Claude/Hapi would also be an excellent support. They’re both outsiders, both left to see the world, both shunned for something they have no control over, and Claude is arguably the least judgemental person in the game, so I think they’d get along well. Also they could go stargazing together, she could teach him constellations from her village and he could teach her ones from Almyra!

I think I hear Hapi call Dimitri Dimi in the Japanese dub (could be wrong) and I kinda like it cause I think Dimi is a cuter nickname than the usual Dima for me. I kinda wanna see the Blue Lions react to Hapi calling Dimitri Dimi or even Didi.
That would be the only nickname that's not localization exclusive aside from the Abyssians. Though I'm gonna go out on a limb and say what you hear is probably her saying "kimi", which is how she usually addresses people

Okay but can we talk about the fact that Hapi calls Mitya 'Didi,' because that makes me feel so fucking warm inside, baby boy finally has a friend who calls him by a nickname. I... think I might ship it a little. This is huge because I don't ship him with literally anyone; I had to create a character to pair him with because all the canon ones make me uncomfy for one reason or another. But I think... I found one.
Now unfortunately, all of Hapi's nicknames I've seen so far are localization exclusive. Except her nicknames for the Abyssians tho those are different, like instead of Coco she calls Constance Connie. Tho Hapi's attitude could be very good for Dimitri as a whole, she's got an outlooks on knights that could probably help him figure some things out about his own view on knighthood
