Introduce yourself!

Being a fandom writer is a fun escape from the drudgery of Real Life Adulthood, and I've enjoyed bopping through fandoms and using fanfiction as a creative outlet. If I'm known for anything, it's probably my writings in sports anime, and as a writer I vacillate wildly between grossly cute shippy fluff and creepy horror or highkey angst -- taking all the freedom that being a fanfic author will give me. As both a reader and a writer, I love pieces that focus on canonical relationships (platonic or romantic) and missing scenes from the canon.

Why did you want to join this zine?

I was so excited to find a zine focused on Shiro and Adam, since I thought it was a really exciting relationship to see in a cartoon, and because of the depth it adds to Shiro as a character. I wish we'd been able to see more of Adam and his past relationship with Shiro in canon, but that's what fandom is for -- we can create our own stories.

What is your favourite time of the day and why?

While I hate WAKING up early, I love BEING up early. I like the crispness of the air before a summer sunrise, and the sparkle of moonlight on snow and salty roads. I like walking on empty streets and knowing that I have a full day ahead of me.
