I have looked in a dictionary a time or two so I know that the words 'example' & 'template' do not mean the same thing, or have similar meanings.

Things are getting very mixed up these days & it is to easy to get confused in 2025. As helpful as the internet is, it can, & often does, display anything instead of just the reality.

You have probably thought about it, but have you really thought about it to the point of #writing it down?

As a #businessowner, or even #corporateleadership, it's your responsibility to model in action & words how employees should operate your business in your absence.

It's YOUR business, so everything should be done your way. Unfortunately, if you don't have your processes, procedures, policies & even special offers written down in black & white every employee will do things their way & not yours.

When starting & maintaining a business documenting processes, procedures, & policies is not your first thought, but it's probably the most important thing that you should do.

When starting a business it's very easy to focus on the overall picture. You assume that the few people you've hired will operate your business the same way you would.

The reality is, they won't. Be the responsible business owner that you are & document...EVERYTHING!
