What a mood this song has put me in. @hannahberrie come take a listen and tell me these lyrics donât remind you of Everybody Talks, and El likening Mikeâs freckles to constellations:
âshining stars all seem to congregate around your faceâÂ
Anything is Mileven-themed if you try hard enough, amirite? đ

honest opinion: your writing is amazing, and I don't mean this in a mean/bitchy way at all, but I know you'll only get even more incredible as you get older. you're only 17 and yet you write far better than most of the people in my writing courses at college
OH MY this was so sweet and im honestly crying??? THANK YOU this means a lot!! i look up to your writing and im so inspired by it, and itâs crazy that you think my writing is amazing when youâre so incredibly talented yourself! thank you again hannah this made my day :â)Â
Guys! @hannahberrie is posting the homecoming chapter of her series Everybody Talks today and honestly I have no idea how I'm gonna function until that comes out because I literally CANNOT WAIT. FOR. IT. TO. COME. OUT!!!! If you haven't read it yet, you should seriously consider it.
âWe need groceries, not just junk food. Youâre worse than the kids.â + Jopper!

âWe need groceries, not just junk food. Youâre worse than the kids.â
âThis is what he always gets,â El responds, dropping in four cans of whipped cream into the shopping cart.
Before Joyce can muster up a response, she turns to see the man she was yelling at and her eyes widen.
Hopper hoists a package of toilet paper on his shoulder, and holds it there in such a way that, somehow, he flexes his biceps in the process. Joyce canât tell if its intentional or not and she really doesnât seem to care.
âItâs Friday,â Hopper says calmly. âFridays we get Eggoextravaganzas.â
Joyce looks down at the girl now eying the frozen boxes of Eggos at the bottom of the cart.
âIs that right El?â
âOnly Fridays.â
Around the corner come two boys carrying large boxes with smaller packages of chips inside. Mike casually elbows Will in the side and quickly the two boys decend into a shoving war.
âWill, you know we canât afford the fun pack!â Hopper places the toilet paper into the cart and places his hands on his hips. âWhat, do you think money grows on trees in this family? Take it back! And get some Pampers for you and your brother while youâre at it.â
âHeâs not my brother, Hopper,â Will replies, rolling his eyes.
âOh Iâm sorry, how many years till heâs your brother in law, Wheeler?â
âHopper!â Joyce shouts, red in the face. She has to stand on her toes to smack the backside of his head.
All three of the kids are bright pink.
âTheyâre practically married,â Hopper says, now focusing his attention on the shelves, not looking for anything in particular. âHe spends enough time over that heâs already one of ours.â
âOk fine,â Joyce responds begrudlingly. She rolls her eyes in the same fashion as her son. âBut why do we need four things of whipped cream?â
Hopper raises an eyebrow.
âTwo for dessert, two for us.â
