also also a few months before junior prom I went to winter ball with my friend calvin and he had asked me out and I didn't want to date him but I have problems with letting people down so I said yes and immediately after getting home I called nick to help me sort it out and he did and calvin ended up dating this girl cary a little while later and they dated for like over a year before he broke up with her but anyway that phone call with nick lasted real long and it was either a six hour call or it ended at six am but either way it was just after winter ball so id been dancing for like three hours or whatever and I have this bad habit of not eating much of anything the day of a dance (its not even on purpose it just always seems to happen) so I wasn't really in like good condition and ngl I don't remember much of that conversation bc of all that but I remember laughing at like everything either one of us said and I told him I loved him bc I do we just have different ideas of love bc his “I love you” is my “im in love with you” so he said “no you don't” and told me to go to sleep and I said “do you think ill remember this in the morning” and he goes this fucker goes “good point, probably not” and fucking hangs up on me and its the only damn thing I fully remember and I feel asleep like two minutes later if that so fuck nick but I love him
