the gradual painful ending of graduation. that last class that just ends. that meeting with your prof that ends with “so, this is it ?”. taking down the posters and trying to pretend this isn’t your last laundry day, night out, weekend, dinner with your roomies. 3 years of spending every day under the same roof and hearing every insignificant detail of their lives just do walk out the door one last time and return back home like you visited narnia but now it’s all over

one really annoying thing about people’s perceptions of autism is certain things people deem as “childlike” are literally just HUMAN THINGS when you aren’t worried about manners and “looking normal” like if someone with autism laughs very loudly or runs around excitedly in a public space people immediately assume it’s “childish” without realising it’s just default human behaviour that we punish out of kids . am i making any sense
