🧡SEASONAL SEDUCTION🧡 I confess to being enamoured of the way the beginning of Autumn entices the end of summer into its leafy embrace. She really puts on a show. The fiery leaves, the soft kisses on the breeze and the sudden showers, drenching in an instant. All while the breath of the air is still warm and humid, and we somehow have to negotiate between wardrobes, ending up with something fantastic like shorts, flip flops and a woolly jumper. In this way, no doubt, Hades enticed Persephone into the underworld. With sweet smells, soft whispers and promises of cosy nights to come. This liminal time is one of my favourite transitions, I love the slowness of it, in these temperate lands. I can’t bear the idea of wearing shoes again. But jumpers I love. A mug of something warm, outside on a cool day. A walk through the blazing woods. The next cusp will be at Samhain when the rich undergrowth of Autumn starts to yield to the crispness of winter. But not before we take a moment to commune with the energy of All-Hallow’s Eve. The boxes for my workshop on 30th October are being designed with ritual, mindfulness and magick at their heart. We will embody the transition through yoga, breathe into a new season and call on the support of our ancestors and guides as we share gratitude for their continued presence with us. The contents of the box are curated to support us through the process and as we make magick to uphold us through the winter that follows. Really looking forward to this one it's always fun getting creative with a pumpkin 🎃 We'll be using Fran's homegrown pumpkins from @SimplyCooking and filling them with locally grown flowers. I'll talk you through each step of the process and introduce you to some floristry techniques.
