Well I'm almost glad its Monday! It's been a hectic weekend with a large group of lovely ladies (and one gent) coming to the willow weaving workshop and they all made the most wonderful creatures. Starting at 7pm, the lovely @melaniewarddesign will take you through the techniques of layering stencil patterns to create your very own designs on gift tags, wrapping paper and cotton bags... everything you need to know to personalise your Christmas presents. The skills you learn can be translated to go on and create festive table runners and so much more. Melanie will give advice on different paints and dyes for various projects. This promises to be a really fun evening of crafting, whilst you sip your complimentary glass of mulled wine. My Autumn wreath of hedgerow finds and dried Xerochrysum better known as Strawflowers, is up on my door and getting lots of nice comments. I included maize-cobs this year which was still quite fresh, so it was fairly easy to poke a wire through the stem to attach them.
