Inuyasha Characters in Fruits Basket’s Remake style Pt.3
Pt.1 - Inuyasha’s Group

A small challenge and project that I proposed myself to do out of pure fun, to edit Inuyasha characters in Fruits Basket’s remake art style using screenshots from characters of the Fruits Basket series.

I was discussing with other users about the depth and impact that SessKagu would bring to the show because of Kagura’s nature and the characters Sesshoumaru and Kagura touched during the events of Inuyasha.
If Kagura is the mother, that would make the twins descendants of Naraku and taint the two pure main characters, while dealing with the notion of nature vs nurture.
My favourite concept is the idea of Kohaku taking in the daughter of Kagura, who died to spare his life, and Sesshoumaru, the one who protected him - partly to avenge Kagura’s death.
This can be reconnected to another possible symbolism that represents that beautiful concept: Setsuna’s naginata.
The naginata is the weapon canonically associated to Hakudoushi, while the fur attached to it recalls the shape of a feather. The weapon is also violet, which is Setsuna’s colour, but also Naraku’s.
It would be extremely meaningful if the one who commissioned this weapon turned out to be Kohaku: in a sense, it seems to symbolize what he owes to Setsuna’s mother. The naginata, in fact, perfectly represents the moment when Hakudoushi showed up to kill Kohaku and Kagura shields him while sending him away on her feather.

Naraku had 7 incarnation and said it was thanks to Kikyo's help.
Could it be related to the 7 rainbow pearls!?
The incarnations being:
Kanna, Kagura, Goshinki, Juromaru, Kageromaru, Hakudoushi and Byakuya.
Muso and The Infant were personalifications of Naraku's heart, not his incarnation. And the rest were part of his body.
I mean, it makes sense, right?
