Well well well. Looks like we are getting a second Gundam Hajiroboshi kit, just not the one I was expecting (I assumed we’d be seeing Hajiroboshi Alector in HG form at some point).

The new wings seem to be evoking Marchosias’, though they’re far from identical. Is this going to be a bridge to Alector, or is Alector a ‘what if’ that we won’t actually see in action in the Urdr Hunt story, despite it appearing in the G app? Time and the next episodes will presumably tell.

From a design point of view, it’s not bad. I think it’s got a slightly nicer silhouette than the original version, and I’m amused that the bulk of the mass is going to be on the waist (which should avoid the weight distribution issues occasionally suffered by the HG IBO Gundam frame). Still, it’s largely just a repaint with new accessories.
