Climbing to Stairway to haven, through the legal way “Moanalua Valley Trail to the Haiku Stairs (Stairway To Heaven) isn’t a real trail or hiking, it’s a mix of both plus adrenaline.  All was set last night, did a post on a trail website and I got some messages saying “I will join you”, time at the meeting Point was at 6.30am in the parking lot, wich is in Moanalua Valley Road. I stopped at the American Embassy (Starbucks) at 5.20 and had a double shot espresso to go, then I started receiving messages wich said “I’m not coming because of the rain”, or “To sleepery” or “I just woke up”.. etc.  In the parking lot I was ready to go solo, but 3 guys were there….what a suprise!!! Rain was falling all night and emergency alert was appearing on my phone “Avoid flood areas” #hurricacelaneefects”. Despaite all, this is somenthing that you will do once in a life time, so we decided to go. After 2 km we were already stucked in a flushing river, we found there also another couple and we spent about 20 minutes trying to unterstand how to pass the River. Than we found the solution but only the couple and me had the brave and insanity to go over the river and the guys decided to go back. I’m glad They did it, because after we had to cross other 7 flush rivers.
