im working out the kinks of haiiros backstory, but the broad strokes are that they grew up with kakashi and that gen, they dated rin for a little bit as genin, then after working ANBU missions they go missing for 10 years and come back after the fourth shinobi war. they have rabbit symbolism to go with kakashi having hound symbolism, and they were nicknamed rabbit when they were in the ANBU. theyre also besties with gai and get up to stupid shit with him
