I changed the story quite a bit since the first idea. He is still the same, sweet, handsome and wonderful but now He and Harry have a deeper relationship.
Yep, they are endgame here.
Harry already kinds of knows him before the quidditch world cup but not actually interacted. But boy, when she sees him...
Amos being Amos insults her without realizing and Cedric tries to make it up. He sticks to her side and is his charming self.

Back at Hogwarts things aren't so peachy for Harry so I think it would be nice if he stuck around like a good older brother, so when the cup chooses Harry he is on her side. He knows she wouldn't do this and defends her.
I like the idea that at first they love the whole "Potter Stinks/Go Cedric". Harry gets some pins and ruins Rita's Photoshoot. They joke around, have fun.
But... some assholes really don't like that Harry is one of the champions. I'm still thinking about it but i would like Cedric to stick up for Harry against his own house, creating a divide. I'm still debating on this because i don't want to make Harry suffer and being attack for being trans and being insensitive or getting into the "trauma porn zone" but on the other hand i would like to work with the idea of community, standing up for others and that your hause don't define if you are good or bad.

The scene would be something like this. Harry is walking down a hall and cross paths with some Hufflepuff boys who start to sneer at her, being dicks in general. They are not happy that she is competing. She tries to ignore them until they start to make personal attacks, making comments like "Let's see what you have under your skirt" and shit like that. Cedric intervines, maybe throws a punch, and creates a divide in hufflepuff. Not sure if I'm going to stick with this but here it is.
Anyways. They team up and spend a lot of time together. They befriend the other champions and the 4 create chaos.
THE YULE BALL
Originally i wanted Harry to go with Ron and Cedric with Cho but I like the idea of Cedric inviting her because "The champions of Hogwarts should stay together" and "I wouldn't trust this savages" and ron going with Cho after fumbling with his words and asking her out.
Cue Harry in crisis.
They keep dancing around eachother and almost all their friends know that they like eachother exceot them.
Third task happend, Cedric survives because I said so.
The year ends and they don't get together but decide to keep in contact. Their relationship keeps building until they kiss during the christmass party.
Cedric would start working in the ministery, gathering information for Harry.
After the war Harry and Cedric stay together.
