Last year I participated in a science popularization program through media, with technologijos.lt - one of the main online science & technology news sites in Lithuania.

I published a total of 12 articles on citizen science, open science & historic Lithuanian scientists! It has been a truly inspirational experience :))

SEOUL : THE LAST ONE ALL TOGETHER

Due to the current state of the COVID-19 pandemic, SplatSpace is currently suspending all new memberships.

SplatSpace will remain open to active members; however, we highly encourage people to stay at home. If you do visit the space, please wear PPE such as latex gloves and a face mask. We are enforcing social distancing by only allowing 1 person per room or station. We also ask that you clean any equipment you use. Gloves and cleaning supplies can be found throughout the space.

SplatSpace’s policies during the COVID-19 pandemic will change as guidelines and regulations from the CDC, government bodies, and other organizations update.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this time.

Glider Ink

Hackers portrayed in mainstream culture are almost exclusively black-hats or hacktivists, with the social dimension of the movement largely ignored.

Glider Ink is a project aiming to create the first graphic novel about hackerspaces, introducing communities and their values to the wider audience.

Glider Ink is a non-profit project. Its goal is to allow the widest audience possible to learn what hackerspaces are – and get inspired.

This project aims to offer exactly that: a graphic novel featuring a space where different people meet, each with their own approach to hacking and ideas about the movement. Some of them will work well together, others will clash, and each conflict will be different.
