The sun is setting on another year -- the wildest year any of us will likely ever experience -- and I couldn't be more grateful for this craziness. . It may have brought out the mean and hateful and crazy in people, but it also brought out the good in many and allowed us to learn much about ourselves. . It gave us time to hone learned skills, to acquire new skills, and to enjoy the quiet of home. . We learned that we don't need sports, or movie theaters, or even concerts to still enjoy life. If anything, I think this year has helped us simplify. . I for one will be glad to welcome in 2021. It won't fix everything that's wrong with the world, but it will help us feel like we get a fresh start, and that's something none of us will turn down. . PS.
