I didn’t grow up in a family where horses were front and center. I was the only one in my family bit with the rodeo/horse bug. For a few years we had several horses, as my kid brother @zachazeller and kid sister @meganmz79 rode too. But they moved on to other things. . . . I continued to immerse myself in horses. I never had the best rodeo horses money could buy: I had the best horses we could afford. I had to put in the work. We were blessed with a little luck, and good people who helped us find/finance those horses. That opened doors for me I never knew existed. . . . Now, I’m surrounded by really handy people who help me when I need it, encourage me when I’m down and who call me out when I’m being “somehow”. Teamwork makes the dream work!!! And I feel like it’s starting to come together. . . . My point in saying all this is that if you want it bad enough you’ll find a way. You’ll put in the work. You’ll keep trying. There were and certainly still are times when I am paralyzed with fear of failure or fear of the unknown that I wouldn’t even try. But those times are fewer and farther between. . . . So go, follow your dreams whatever they are.
