I was one of the participants who reached out to over 123 people (Adolescent Girls, Women, Boys, and Men). To recognize our social impact made during the 16 Days of Activism under the United Activism Campaign Project, a Certificate of Participation was issued to all the Participants. Special thanks to @haaf_se @cataicenter @thescoopinitiative_ #Bowdi @fourci_ng and #NECSOB for recognizing our little efforts towards making sure that we eliminate violence against women and girls. Project Title: Capacity Building for Women and Youth to Counter Violent Extremism Infiltration and Conflict in Borno State. Hope And Awareness Foundation Capstone Project Funded by USAID/NIGERIA with Implementing partners NEC and anchored organization PACHE. Hope And Awareness Foundation is among the eight cohort organizations opportune to be part of the organizational capacity development and mentoring program funded by USAID Northeast Connection and supported to implement activities in Borno State Nigeria. Hope And Awareness Foundation conducted a town hall meeting with Women and Youths on the theme: Capacity Building for Women and Youth to Counter Violent Extremism Infiltration and Conflict in Borno State. Women and Youths were present to contribute to finding a solution that may curb the rationalization of vulnerable people. After the meeting, we came out with key expected deliveries to the partisans: √ Process of radicalization to Violent Extremism. √ how radicalization to Violent Extremism occurs. √ Identifying Violent Extremism. √ Preventing and countering Violent Extremism.
