ep30, second half, the family dinner from hell

let me see if I have this right

1. empress is from the yuan family, related to the wen family? errr now idr

2. consort is from the yue family

3. and then there’s a 3rd consort, Consort Cheng, who apparently was a one-night stand that explains 5th prince who even the emperor seems to regret

4. crown prince, I think he’s the oldest so 1st prince? idk. mother is... consort yue? she is the fave, but personality-wise he does seem more like the empress

5. the 5th prince, the horndog who doesn’t like to study, child of the one-night stand

6. 3rd prince (the warmongerer) on the left, 2nd princess on the right? y/n? I guess these are the consort’s children?

(that seems odd, given normally it’s the sons of different mothers who see each other as antagonists, so I guess CP is empress’ son & not fave’s son)

7. crown princess on the left, 5th prince’s wife on the right? guess this is the reaction shot for ‘women who had the misfortune of marrying into this fiasco’

8. and then there’s 5th princess on the left, the youngest spoiled one who would rather be in politics, whose mother is the empress (y/n?), and on the right is 3rd princess, consort yue’s youngest and apparently also most spoiled thanks to uncle yue’s bad influence

9. and then there are two guys who don’t get a close-up but are only in the background, and I think one of them must be married to one of the princesses, given Consort Yue says “consort and prince consort” for the above shot
