π²H.Roads Forest Revival Essenceπ² You must be wondering why Iβm holding this beautiful masculine bottle of essence. It is 1. For men. 2. I wanted to know if there was honestly a difference between male and female products. Iβve not been fond of dividing products by gender because skin is skin and there are men with dry skin, and women with oily skin. So Iβm not into the whole βmen have oily skin, women have more dry skinβ. Climate plays a part too π€¦π»ββοΈ . Anyway, this is my first encounter with this brand @h.roads and it appears to be by Daniel Henney (not sure why this is a big deal but seems to be the main selling point). Buying it isnβt going to be easy as google isnβt giving me much about it. I couldnβt even get the ingredients list. Based on photos it looks like it boasts HA and Sea Buckthorn and something about sunflowers (lol Pictionary). This line is designed for men and this essence promises to brighten, moisturise, and have anti ageing properties. . The essence has a light gel-like emulsion texture that glides on smoothly. The pump kinda spurts and behaves like itβs at the end of the product despite being in the first few pumps which is totes weird, but it gets better and I use 3 pumps each time. The product is moisturising and dries pretty matte. It absorbs fast and is easy to spread, and Iβve noticed it soothes my skin a little. As with most male products that promise to do everything, this seems to be a jack of all trades. Itβs not magical or amazing but it gets the job done. I have to say the one thing I really like is the fat black sturdy packaging. Canβt we have more skincare in black packaging? Iβm also going to keep that pretty foresty box. Hehe. . Iβll probably be passing this on to my dad because it didnβt do enough for me, and @0.8l_singapore sent me another peptide essence that I look forward to trying. So yessss!
