2020 Quarantine Challenge
Week 1: Questions
How are you keeping active?
Run before breakfast starting today, and in general push-ups, working up to pull-ups, and body combat videos with my parents in the evening
no gym, no problem.. right?
Okay, due to financial issues (which will hopefully be resolved soon enough) I have to give up the gym. To be honest, I do my best workouts outside / at home anyways, and we could use the extra $$$ for all seventy thousand dogs + the mortgage. I’m also looking for another job, but I’m super not looking forward to it. My anxieties have been much more of an issue as of recently, particularly in social situations.
Day 176 Gymless: LEG DAYYY!
4 sets, 8-12 reps:
Front squat with resistance
Banded squats to calf raise
Deficit deadlift
RDL(heels unsupported)
Banded hip thrusts
Day 165 Gymless: 1.5 hour long walk to the lake today- it was hot! But I saw a hawk dive down for a fish and the usual sunning turtles. They always make me smile.
Afterwards, I did some relaxed yoga with Thief.
I didn’t get a lot of sleep this morning, so I’ll probably need a nap before work tonight. I think I’ll wait a bit to eat so my food coma puts me to sleep. 🙃

2.6 mile run/walk & Shoulders and Abs today
Starting off the week strong! I can’t wait until I get my car back and I can go explore trails in my area! For now, the neighborhood will do.

Day 241 Gymless: Leg Day!
I went for a 3.25 mile run to the river and back, then did a quick cool down walk- it was COLD once I stopped running 🥶 But what a beautiful day.
Leg workout-
4 sets:
10 Dumbbell deadlifts
10 squat to calf raises
12 Overhead squat
10 shoulder racked lunges
20 hip thrusters
10 Single leg glute bridges
Day 252 Gymless/3 days til move: Leg Day!
First I did a 2 mile run and a 2.5 mile cool down walk. What a gorgeous day!
