          The conviction with which Luffy made that claim makes Kid actively want to defy him solely to prove him wrong. Maybe he will shoot all of them just out of spite. Just to prove that Luffy doesn't know anything.

          …Well, he'll kill them all when he feels like it. He just happens to not feel like it right this second. He's got better shit to do than waste time playing with the Straw Hats right now.      That's all there is to it. He can do it any time.

ㅤ⠀To say that Shachi had been pleasantly surprised by the sudden bold streak that came from Usopp would be an understatement. A slow spreading grin crawled across his features, baring subtly sharpened teeth as he slowly closed the door behind himself, the latch clicking softly. But that's how Gunners were- the secret weapon that no one anticipates. It was their job to cover their crewmates, to stun and surprise.
