you frown, twisting in his hold that he won't seem to let up on, trying to face him. "What's gotten into you? What's wrong?"

ever since you'd arrived, he'd been acting very strange. not his typical raspy and bearish demeanor, but a stuffy stoicism you'd never seen him dressed in. Guzzle hadn't let your feet touch the ground either, gathering your in his arms and retreating to the common room for some sort of solitude.

"I dunno." but the way he says it, he definitely knows. "What about that thing on yer hand?"

you in turn freeze, and Guzzle knows he's trapped you right where he wanted you.

"What about it?" you try, slowly attempting to slip the mentioned hand off the table, but instead his free servo reaches over to grasp it gently, stopping you in your tracks.

"How'd that happen?"

you'd honestly forgotten about it, as it really hadn't been painful since the initial mishap. that was days ago, and you suppose you hadn't seen Guzzle in between the occurrence, so this sight was news to him. the wrapping now was just precautionary, to ensure it healed well and was covered from any outside factors.

sure, you neglected to tell him when it happened. it wasn't necessarily a major topic of discussion, but you suppose it was the first time he's seen you any more injured than a paper cut.

"It's from days ago." you mumble, body losing it's rigidity as his digit begins running over the back of your hand, cautious to avoid the injury.

he hums disapprovingly from above you, not hiding his frustration. "That didn't answer my question."

Guzzle stiffens when you slip your hand free, raising your arm straight in the air as it stops right in front of his face-plate. "It's fine." you insist, trying to turn around once more to look up at him. "If you kiss it, it'll feel better."

you don't expect him to comply, partially due to his annoyance in reference to you hiding it from him, but he's seemingly full of surprises. without missing a beat, the same servo reaches up to engulf yours, simultaneous to the way his face-shield slides over with a automated thunk.

his peck is feather light, overly cautious and benign. a rosy shade overtakes your cheeks immediately, quickly spinning back around to try and avoid the tease that you could watch building on his tongue.

"Does it feel better, then?" he huffs, but there's an amused smile on his face, not quite ready to let go of your hand just yet.

"Yeah, it does." you mumble, but your breath hitches as he begins leaving a trail of kisses down the length of your arm. the servo that rests on your stomach tugs you closer, Guzzle bending to your shoulder once he reached the end of your arm.

"Still not goin' to tell me how you got it?" he speaks into your skin, touch somewhere between chilly and warm.

when you shake your head no, searching to be defiant if only to not trouble him further, he doesn't relent. he sticks his nose in the crook of your neck, kissing over your shoulder blades.

"I guess we'll be here a while then."
