no see i made a mistake rewatching 4x13 and 4x14 this morning and so i am feeling fully feral BUT those episodes shifted something so fundamental in me when it comes to buck and eddie. the shooting. buck covered in eddies blood. buck rolling under that firetruck and saving eddie. the way he ripped open eddies shirt to try and save him. the way the same hands that saved eddie shook so badly when he was leaving the hospital. the moment buck found out eddie was out of surgery and broke down in front of christopher. hey buck. hey. you act like you’re expendable but you’re wrong. no one will fight for my son as hard as you. 4x14 survivors truly the moment where they made sure everyone watching this silly weewoo show knew there was no other option except buddie endgame. they wrote themselves into the most beautiful slow burn maybe ever seen on network tv as soon as buck and eddie sat side by side on that hospital bed and i have been actively going insane ever since.
